SONY will showcase the HD FCB camera module with improved image resolution

SONY Europe's Image Sensing Solutions division today announced that it will be showcasing its complete FCB-EH series of camera modules at Vision 2012, including its flagship FCB-EH6500 with 30x optical zoom and 1080p/30fps video.

The FCB-EH6500 is currently on the market and is now joined by the newly launched FCB-EH3410 and FCB-EH3310 720p/60fps modules. The FCB-EH3310 and FCB-EH3410 replace the previous FCB-EH3300/3400 modules and benefit from improvements in the camera design and its optical filters to provide sharper images.

All three models feature SONY's renowned ultra-sensitive Exmor™ CMOS sensor, and all were engineered in collaboration with SONY's sensor development team to achieve unprecedented image quality.

The new modules enrich SONY's range of HD FCB modules, including the FCB-EH6300(20x, 1080/30P), FCB-EH3150(12x, 720/60P) and the ultra-compact FCB-SE600(3x one push AF, 1080/30P).
