ov7620 Hardware structure
The OV7620 is a CMOS color/black and white image sensor. It supports continuous and interlace scanning, VGA and QVGA two image formats; The highest pixel is 664×492, the frame rate is 30fp8; The data formats include YUV, YCrCb and RGB, which can meet the requirements of the general image acquisition system.
OV7620 internal programmable function register Settings have power-on mode and SCCB programming mode. The system adopts SCCB programming mode, continuous scanning, 16-bit RGB data output. The block diagram of the system hardware structure is shown in Figure 1.
The ARM chip uses LPC2210 with ARM7TDMI kernel to control the function register of OV7620 through the GPIO of LPC2210 to simulate SCCB bus protocol. Three interrupt pins of LPC2210 are used to introduce OV7620 image output synchronization signals VSYNC, HSYNC and PCLK to synchronize image data output by interrupt. The 16-bit parallel data output from the YUV channel of the OV7620 is accessed via the LPC2210's high 16-bit data line.
The SST39VF160 and IS61LV25616AL are extended Flash and SRAM, used as program memory and data memory respectively.
