■IMX230 is a diagonal 7.487 mm (type 1/2.4) 21 megapixel CMOS active pixel type stacked image sensor with a square pixel array. Adopting Exmor RS™ technology, it realizes high-speed image capture through column-parallel A/D conversion circuit, and achieves high sensitivity and low noise images (compared with conventional CMOS image sensors) through back-illuminated imaging pixel tructure. R, G, B pigment primary color mosaic filters are adopted. By introducing spatial multiplexing exposure technology, high dynamic range still pictures and movies can be achieved. It is equipped with an electronic shutter with variable integration time. It has three power supply voltages: analog 2.5 V, digital 1.1 V and 1.8 V for input/output interface to achieve low power consumption.

Frequently Asked Questions about IMX230 Camera Image Sensor:
Q1: What type of sensor is the IMX230 camera image sensor?
A1: IMX230 is a stacked CMOS (complementary metal oxide semiconductor) image sensor. Stacked CMOS is widely used in portable devices such as smartphones for its high pixel value, small size and excellent image quality.
Q2: What are the main features of IMX230?
A2: The main features of IMX230 include:
High pixel value: supports up to 21 million pixels for shooting, providing rich image details.
Large photosensitive element: Compared with traditional CMOS sensors, IMX230 has a larger photosensitive element area, which improves the shooting effect in low-light environments.
Phase detection autofocus: supports phase detection autofocus technology, which can quickly and accurately achieve focus, especially suitable for shooting moving objects.
HDR video recording: supports high dynamic range (HDR) video recording, which can present more details in high-contrast scenes.
High-quality output: By optimizing pixel arrangement and signal processing algorithms, IMX230 can output high-quality images and videos.
Q3: What are the common faults of IMX230 camera image sensors?
A3: The following common faults may be encountered during the use of IMX230 camera image sensors:
Image noise: In high temperature or low light environment, image noise may increase.
Focusing problem: Although IMX230 supports phase detection autofocus, inaccurate focus or slow focusing speed may still occur in some extreme cases.
Color distortion: If the sensor is subject to electromagnetic interference or internal circuit problems, image color distortion may occur.
Hardware damage: If the sensor is subjected to mechanical shock or strong vibration, the internal structure may be damaged, affecting normal use.
Q4: How to solve the noise problem of IMX230 camera image sensors?
A4: Methods to solve the noise problem of IMX230 camera image sensors include:
Optimize the shooting environment: Try to avoid shooting in high temperature or low light environment to reduce the generation of noise.
Adjust camera settings: Lowering ISO sensitivity, reducing exposure time and other settings can reduce noise to a certain extent.
Use image processing software: Reduce noise on images after shooting to improve image quality.
Professional repair: If the noise problem persists and seriously affects the shooting effect, it is recommended to contact professional repair personnel for inspection and repair.
Q5: How to prevent the IMX230 camera image sensor from malfunctioning?
A5: Ways to prevent the IMX230 camera image sensor from malfunctioning include:
Correct use: Follow the operating guidelines in the camera manual to avoid improper operation that may damage the sensor.
Regular maintenance: Keep the camera lens clean and avoid dust and dirt adhering to the sensor surface.
Avoid extreme environments: Try to avoid exposing the camera to extreme temperatures, humidity or electromagnetic interference.
Proper storage: When the camera is not in use, store it in a dry, ventilated place to avoid moisture or pressure.
